I'm on a slightly higher dose of Concerta now, & it does seem to be helping with my problem where I get nothing done at work. So that's probably good.

It's not a huge change but I certainly felt it wear off more dramatically last night. Which isn't all bad. It's just a little weird to have a point in the evening where your brain suddenly switches what it even means to focus on something.

Suddenly last night I had several trains of thought going instead of one.

@artemis Generic Adderall XR seems to be better than nothing, but I still have too many of those productivity-impaired days even on it. So far, my doc has said he wants me to be on a long stretch of taking it every work day before he goes to one of the fancier ones. Which sure. Literally had a day this week where I thought I need to go take it before it gets any later like 6 times. Finally at lunchtime I had the dreaded, do I take it now and risk losing sleep or call today a wash?

@scottmiller42
Oh my god, I am soooo familiar with that decision.

ADHD Problem #10032: The meds don't help you take the meds, because you have to take the meds first.

@artemis I also have your same concerns about seeking, especially given that my daughter needs hers far more than I do, and I fear anything I do wrong potentially jeopardizes her ability to get treatment. We have completely non-overlapping doctors, but still.
