I'm watching #COLvDAL #NHL game from last Sa and #RayFerraro keeps trying to use his talkback but the audio is so out of synch that if he gets excited and starts talking fast, he trips himself up and studders thanks to the talkback delay.

My guess of what he's complaining is the in-ear headphones he has to hear the telecast's director and possibly the referees and mic'd players, has sidetone, and the sidetone has a delay, so when he talks ahead of his own side tone, it's throwing him off.
