Curious. Is there a popular tourist attraction near where you live that you've never been to even though you've lived here for decades?

Me: Toronto's St. Lawrence Market.

How 'bout you?

@shayman Winchester Mystery House.
@_the_cloud I always wondered if that was worth it. Drove past it many times on mothership visits.
@shayman Statue of Liberty (grew up there, didn't go until I had kids of my own). Washington Monument (still haven't been after 25 years).
@soffronoff Good ones. (Although I assume you can at least SEE them, but that doesn't count.)
@shayman Yeah, living in DC you can't help but get close to and see the Washington Monument, but the SoL you don't really get that good of a view of from the NJ Turnpike or most of Manhattan.
@shayman Not sure about Edmonton but I go to Jasper all the time and have never been up the Jasper SkyTram.
@shayman I don't know if it counts because its an event not a fixed property, but KW's Oktoberfest.
@johannab Totally counts. Good one. I lived in KW for a decade and mostly avoided Oktoberfest but I might have slipped up a couple of times and gone to something.
@shayman Funny, despite my interests in history and numerous trips to places like Jefferson's Monticello and Colonial Williamsburg, I've yet to visit James Monroe's home near Monticello (maybe 40 minutes from me), James Madison's Montpelier not far past it or Washington's Mount Vernon a couple more hours north (outside DC where I've been more times than I could count). Also, still never visited the large D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Va about an hour away.
@shayman Parliament hill (both inside and out)

@shayman I've never stopped at the Spiral Tunnels on my way through BC. Although I always see lots of people and tour busses stopped there on the TransCanada.

I've been to pretty much all the tourist attractions around Calgary.

@shayman Never climbed Coit Tower or rode the cable cars of San Francisco. Never went to the Statue of Liberty of the top of the Empire State Building while living in New York. (I did eventually go to SiL while back on vacation.)
