Wow, that proposed ALTO High Speed Rail thing is going to use up so much of our farmland!

And look at how much money ALTO will cost!

How about we replace the existing road with tracks?

It isn't just farmland. It is environmentally sensitive habitat and watersheds, but don't let that stop the hype.

Current rail beds don't need 60 metres. The Alto needs that as a minimum.
