#JukeboxFridayNight has the broad theme of #DanceMusic tonight. Since my first Bryan Ferry song thought has already been done, I'll go with …
Bryan Ferry "Don't Stop The Dance"

And here's one that takes me back to my days of Modern Dance lessons (because we used the song to practice a move, not because we did *these* moves).
CW for flashing/strobe lighting effect.
Michael Sembello "Maniac"

Dance 'til you can't dance no more
Get on the floor and get raw
C+C Music Factory "Here We Go, Let's Rock & Roll (feat. Freedom Williams & Zelma Davis)"

Stay safe out there.
🎶'Cos your friends don't dance
And if they don't dance, well they're
No friends of mine🎶
Men Without Hats "Safety Dance"

Cliff Richard and the Shadows "Do You Wanna Dance?"

You remind me of the babe.
What babe?
David Bowie "Magic Dance"

Caravan Palace "We Can Dance" (audio only, but you should be up boogieing, anyway)

Days of the New had this song with 'Dancing' in the title that ends on a rather dark line repeated (self-deletion), and then is an extended end-of-album number that may break the party rhythm:
Days of the New "Dancing With The Wind"
And then they had this other song that is just plain groovy:
Days of the New "Enemy"

That's funny. Youtube read my mind, because I was thinking of sharing this one.
There are people dancing int he background. *And* there is a choreographed dance! You can even do that supermarket shopping dance move, if you want to.
Pulp "Common People"
Alright, it must be time for me to revisit my clubbing days …
Missy Elliot "Lose Control"

Sophie Ellis-Bextor "Murder on the Dancefloor"

And speaking of dance battles, this one's a bit of a giggle.
Family Force Five "Dance Or Die"

Gonna turn around once and we'll do the Eagle Rock …
Daddy Cool "Eagle Rock"

🎶It's the sound of the underground
The beat of the drum goes 'round and 'round
Into the overflow
Where the girls get down to the sound of the radio🎶
Girls Aloud "Sound of the Underground"

From an album titled 'American Made Music to Strip By', and used in a scene in an episode of 'Angel' (a spinoff from 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer') where Faith, the other slayer, is dancing at a club.
Rob Zombie "Living Dead Girl"

Will.i.am "Scream & Shout ft Britney Spears"

Tori Amos "Professional Widow (Armand's Star Trunk Funk Mix)"

Of course, when we used to dance to this, we didn't dance to the censored version …
Ice Cube, Mack 10, Ms. Toi - "You Can Do It"

No Doubt "Hella Good"
🎶So let's just keep on dancing🎶

🎶Do you love me
Now that I can dance?🎶
Appeared in the "Dirty Dancing" movie, too.
The Contours "Do You Love Me?"

Sharing because if there is one song pretty much guaranteed to get me up for a dance … (starts 1 min in on this version)
The Big Push "Watch Out"

And this may not be a traditional party song for many, but I consider this a dance track. It *is* the song I went through a floorboard while dancing to that one time (our house is old).
Chevelle "An Island"

The Drifters "Save The Last Dance For Me"

Not being a responsible DJ tonight, I'm all over the show with genre/decade. But, oh well.
The Prodigy "No Good (Start The Dace)"

Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers "Mary Jane's Last Dance"

From the same album as "More Than Words"
Extreme "Decadence Dance"

Harper Finn (yeah, from that Finn family) "Dance Away These Days" (they should've played this on Orion)

A 2-parter from Kiwi Jordan Reyne:
"The Piper, Pt. I: Dance, Your Day Is Yet to Come"
and
"The Piper, Pt. II: Dance for the Boys"

One for the dramatic dancers among us …
Mother Love Bone "Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns"

@debe I do like me some Prodigy.
Jilted Generation rocks, bobs, raves.... something, or it all.
@debe if you can dance to it, it probably qualifies as dance music.
I'm inclined to cheat as I learned ballet as a child, ballroom and folk dancing as a teenager, and modern dance as a university student. There are few pieces of music I couldn't dance to in my younger days. Not so much now.
