While removing the masking tape, part of the painting went with the tape -.- I still haven't found the perfect tape for painting, any suggestions?

have you tried washi tape as masking tape yet? only had paper eating once with that, on pretty cheap paper

@therealkuu actually this was with washi tape - maybe I was not carefull enough while removing the tape 🤔

not necessarily, theres tons of differences between them, also paper, maybe try out a few others, but if it doesnt work it doesnt work
you could also consider gum tape, its not *for* masking but for stretching the paper but since it comes off when wetted it wouldn't eat the paper
