Perfect illustration of why it isn't sufficient to just be FOSS/FLOSS anymore*. A statement of ethics and a proper governance structure must live alongside.

* and never was, though it was a marginally better proxy metric in the past

Debian, unlike say Gentoo, hasn't adopted a ban on genAI contributions.
