Fascinating 👀 A working group of Indivisible chapters in California surveyed 11,810 people using STAR voting, to ascertain who they should ask to drop out of the gubernatorial race.

The results are below.

Personally, I really hope people start coalescing around Xavier Becerra. He can do this.

Granted, first past the post is very different from STAR voting. Those results don't reflect how Becerra would fare with the (awful) voting methodology we actually use in our elections.

I'm still not sure how I'll vote. Becerra is my preferred candidate. I won't vote for Steyer. I have grave concerns about Swalwell. I have concerns about Porter.

We should be able to vote our conscience in primaries. But the top two jungle primary confounds that in situations like this.

@robin I voted that poll & Becerra was my no. 1 choice. But it looks as though the Dems are organizing a circular firing squad.

@KateConnors Glad to be in good company wanting to see Becerra in office!

And... yeah. What a mess. We really need to repeal Prop 14* and then enact further electoral reform.
