Mark Kadela, another attendant of Open Hardware Meetup, showed his concept all terrain vehicle, zee-two, that he has been working on for over 6 years.
We are told that it is a working prototype (able to reach 5 km/h in theory). Most of the parts are 3D printed and would break before reaching the speed the controller or the batteries could provide. Since it is not road safe, he could not demo it. Instead of building a 16 kg battery assembly, current battery is a fancy box for a couple electric lawn mower batteries.
This prototype was inspired by early monotrack all terrain vehicles (ATV):
