My bike light's position on the handlebar prevented me from using handlebar bags for bikepacking.

So I cut the cables and soldered SON coaxial connectors onto them. I also soldered two extension cables together, one of which I fitted with a splitter. I can connect a V4.0 bike charger to it to charge my devices. The light is mounted on an Aero Mount at the front of the bag.

It actually works, and I’m pretty proud of it. :-)

@sscherfke went a slightly different route to get my lights to work bikepacking. Only issue would be full compression of the fork which I find unlikely as if it ever happened my took bag would be an issue as well, and considering my tool bag has been there for 1500km of single track, probably never an issue. Nice hack you did!
