That's why they justified lifting said lockdown despite covid still being widespread, and likely why a number of other nations are following suit.
Now, as for the current administration? It could be malicious, but it's pretty evident that RFK Jr is an anti-vaxxer and otherwise a fucking moron when it comes to being the Secretary of Health.
