At supermarkets I never use the self checkout.
I hate it when humans are replaced by machines. I don't want to deal with a machine, I want to talk to a human.

But I'm with Ciara too, sometimes I don't want to talk to anyone or, in classic stores, I don't want a seller pushing me to buy.
Online shopping saved my life, it's especially true when we are gender transitioning.
Some people prefer human cashiers to chat and it's good they should exist.
And it's clear that you're not in France and you didn't cross a cashier that is just too grumpy and hate the job that don't even answer your most smiley "bonjour" 😅
