@daringfireball remember that time zoom was caught running an insecure local webserver to avoid one extra click when opening a zoom link?

None of these big companies can be trusted. It’s no wonder Apple are trending towards sandboxing as we saw in the mac app store only done more incrementally so it doesn’t feel as restrictive.

@daringfireball “Adobe used to be a bastion of best practices for developers to follow.” Is this sarcasm? I remember Adobe being a nightmare to uninstall back in the Mac Classic/OS 8 days.
