@mookie I thought that Frank's supporting role in Daredevil Born Again S1 was done well. Darker than the original series (which wasn't exactly puppies and rainbows) so Punisher fits in well.

@mookie This is a single-episode special, like "Werewolf by Night" was. I've read that the teams working on Daredevil, Spider-Man, and this show had some coordination. I'm looking forward to it.

@mookie should I watch the TV series (yeah, I know, lot of catching up to do) before the Spidey film?

I also skipped Daredevil, but it seemed I missed out on the lore that much for NWH
