@parismarx In my mind this follows the playbook of local compute and storage being bought up by AI/cloud companies, and then charging people for cloud storage and compute plans, because, oh no!, on-prem compute and storage is either not available at all, or prohibitively expensive, for some mysterious reason.

It's just now they've found a way to extend this to *human* "compute".
