Imagine how the creative team could have continued a story that was about, in its long arc, a woman and her friends freeing themselves from a system of male control by reclaiming and sharing power. ... How cool it would’ve been to see an adult Buffy mentoring a new Slayer and teaching her how to be strong, instead of controlling her like a Watcher."
