Anyone who uses Linux and LinkedIn with a Chromium-based browser, are you having this problem? I’ve had this frustrating situation where I can’t post in LinkedIn because it triggers the footer every time I press the space bar.
(Edit: It may be Vivadi-centric.)

I’m pasting this in from Obsidian because #LinkedIn doesn’t want me to share my posts with you. For a couple of weeks now, LinkedIn has had this strange problem where I haven’t been able to press the space bar in its post window without it intentionally kicking me out of the window. It then displays its footer over everything, and I cannot get it to stop. When I tried looking in the console, LinkedIn initially boots me out of it, where I found a bunch of other junk. I post content here to promote my work, and do my job. I have used Linux for the past 2+ years with no problems … until the last couple of weeks. And now I have to go through these insane hoops because LinkedIn would rather stop bots and scrapers than trust their own users. It’s so frustrating because I like this community. I just want to keep up with friends and comments and share my work. I have streaks in some of the games that other pros would kill for. But LinkedIn is so obsessed with killing bots that it would rather trash its own user experience for normal people. Is anyone else having this problem? I can’t be the only one. Edit: After some additional looking and verification from another user that they were having the issue, I think I figured out what’s up. There is a bug with LinkedIn, but an obscure Vivaldi feature was triggering the bug: https://lnkd.in/ecceA4ha
