Some day, a historian will write a book about how much money Trump made under the table during his presidency.

I often think about how history will turn on this guy. There will be broad concensus of how horrible he was (similar but worse than views of Nixon), and no doubt there will be revelation after revelation. I expect that to affect his family and entourage, and those people will try to hit back hard, to protect their money and privilege.
There will have to be some kind of accountability, and I hope no Gerald Ford style pardon. But that might be naive hope.
@Giselle Nixon's pardon set a bad precedent. And yeah, I really expect the future to generally consider this guy a villain. His name's going to be up there with a bunch of other despots.
@raven
I totally agree.
Is it very bad of me that I desperately want to see this guy in handcuffs on the way to an institution similar to those he is responsible for incarcarating immigrants in? I loathe this guy. And it feels like an insult to humanity that on top of wanting to be a despot, he is also very stupid. He's so vain to think that he can jump into a war with Iran because he likely thought it was going to be easy to win. I bet he didn't ask for or listen to usual advice for a POTUS.
