AI text has a flavour. It might not be obvious at first but it leaves a bad aftertaste. Once it's bad taste hits me, I can't keep going. It lingers and distracts from whatever the text is trying to convey.

Did the "author" think so little of their own voice, or so little of their intended reader, to turn to AI to generate some filler? Do you add sawdust to flour to make bigger loaves of bread and feed it to your guests?
