Lehrmann claimed that statement was defamatory. He has lost every stage of his litigation up to the High Court of Australia, and no more appeals are available, so now he just has to wear it whenever anyone states the facts of his conduct: It is no longer actionable to publish imputations about Bruce Lehrmann the rapist.
