I've talked before about how I don't have a sense of thirst. I do notice symptoms of dehydration and think "I guess I'd better drink something," but I'm given to understand it hits differently for you thirsty types.

You know what *does* hit for me though? Like after a workout? Gatorade. Maybe the sugar unlocks my ability to perceive that I'm fulfilling a basic need? But drinking a sugary soda after a workout is a repulsive idea, maybe it's actually the salt? I should try salty Coca-Cola.

Obviously you don't know so I searched the internet. Apparently in 2024 Coke launched a limited “Coca-Cola Creations ‘Happy Tears’ Zero Sugar’" version which was sold exclusively on .. TikTok? So basically DIY is the answer. And reading reviews (okay a review. Whaddya want from me here?), DIY was already the answer because that stuff just tasted like normal Coke Zero.
