@yawnbox Well, damn. That's Hong Kong off my bucket list... I did rather want to see the place; the airport specifically is an engineering marvel... but not at the expense of dropping my virtual shorts in front of Chinese CBP...

@yawnbox pretty sure this is also true in the UK. They just have to say it's terrorist related, which these days means nothing (eg holding up a sign is now an offence under anti terror laws here, provided the Home Secretary has made some arbitrary oppressive classification - at least one Jury disagreed though. So now they're getting rid of juries. Thank you fascist #UKLabour).

A few years ago they were using this to try and bully journalists into revealing encrypted data.
