update on the "FPGA IBM System/370 mainframe" -- this isn't gonna be one of those spiffy fancy-dancy big mainframes crammed on a chip, it's gonna be a clone of the IBM 37T -- basically an IBM 4331 (with a workstation adapter for 3270 displays and an integrated DASD controller for attachment to hard disks) with a 1280x1024 VGA controller, mouse/keyboard interface, and Ethernet adapter

the goal is for this to be a usable computer when I finish it sometime in August!
