That Old Guy with the Beard

Walked over to the New St. Paul’s Hospital site to get a sense of exactly where and how big it all is.

CONCLUSION: it’s directly north of the train and bus station, and Trillium Park area along National Avenue is directly to the east. There’s a secondary building at the corner of Prior and Station Streets. All of it is very big.

I‘ll be back sometime soon before noon, as I think that’ll be a better angle for photographing the facility.

Anytime after noon makes the whole east side of the place drop into deep shadow and it becomes a study of form and heavy contrasting planes. There’s nothing wrong with that, it’s just not how I roll (at least not for this).

The west side is a massive wall with texture and colour blocks, and that *can* be fun but it’s not working for me right now. Maybe without the construction fences in the way it’ll be more interesting.
