having to use "Smart" shit reminds me of the unending agony of letting dumbfuck marketrons make any decision at any point.

this audio player has some post processing to fuck up your music, just turn that off, no problem.
it supports "external hard drives", wow that sounds cool! ...oh right, it accepts 1 UND EXACTLY ONE filesystem. so effectively you can sacrifice some hardware if you want it to dangle around. l
et's say you do. you let sony reformat the drive, it chooses the one filesystem it likes. You plug this storage device into your computer, and your computer decides it can't be used as a storage device - some filesystems will store permissions.

...in what fucking world do i plug in a flash drive and not want to put shit on it? some idiot decided that yes, that is how it shall be.

maybe the ... modern *vomits a bit*... """smart""" device can handle a nonretarded filesystem? let's find out.

it's #wayland. it all comes back to wayland.

it's slightly faster and more responsive, that's highly addictive... but it broke *fucking everything*

which sucks, because omarchi uses wayland, so i think i have to go **full** #ArchBTW to escape.
