Next up on RetroSpectives, I'm after comments to feature regarding your memories, thoughts and experiences with View-Master 3D reels. Did you have one / still have one? Any favourite sets of reels? Are they still amazing today, or were they just a waste of space? The video is due to go live on Thursday 16th April.
@retrosteveuk I had a viewmaster when I was about 8 or 9? I only had 2 sets: Daktari (a series featuring a veterinarian) and I think a Snoopy one, the last one I am not sure of. I enjoyed them but I was bored after a while. I think I may still have them somewhere 🙂
@asep This is the thing I have to admit - they were quite a novelty at the time which quickly wore off, but as a retro curiosity now they hold a lot of nostalgia for some. I've just been going through some old reels today and the 3D effect still pops really nicely.
