Just had a horrible experience with the AIB mobile app and website. Even though you use your phone to approve the sign in, you still need the ancient card reason just to send a payment. Disgusting carry on.

My mam couldn’t have done this bank transfer on her own.

@padraig it's ridiculous. They did bring in their selfie system. Did you get that as an option?

@donncha Yeah, on the app, my mam got to do the selfie and managed to do the transfer on the app, but if I attempted it from the website, I would have needed the card reader, even though I already used the phone to authenticate the login.

@padraig I was able to do 2 SEPA Instant payments on the AIB website yesterday without a problem using a laptop. No card reader needed.. I prefer to use a laptop as it's easier for me to manage and my phone is a few years old and a bit slower to do stuff at times.
