They had been abandoned by Dem leadership & were looking for a saviour. They were gullible enough to believe a narcissistic psychopath when he said "I am your retribution".

They voted for him because he hated who they hated.

@DrALJONES yeah, they got to see the remnants of their production economy disappear and they blamed the black man like the bigots they are. Too bad they weren’t out here in Cali in the 90’s I saw a chevron regional headquarters close, my local hospital that specialized in industrial trauma & maternity/pediatrics go, food for less buy out & destroy a local supermarket chain oh and a Hugh’s campus shut down…replaced by a service economy. Took a while for the country to catch up

@DrALJONES it failed. We’ve been living in a broken country for the last 23 years (minimum) and people who don’t feel that failure financially don’t care and don’t see that the majority of us have to live and cope in this broken sh*t
