Fight Fascism! Lessons from organizers across the US!

Come and join us! ❤️‍🔥

🗣 The event will be in English

Activists in the United States have been confronting an escalating far-right for years.

What can we learn from the U.S. left’s experiences, both its victories and its setbacks?

Join us for a critical, strategy-focused evening. We will use the experiences of U.S. organizers to sharpen our own strategies for the German context.

Our Guests:

Karl K is a Black communist organizer, trainer, and movement builder currently working with The Other Side Project on campaigns against tech authoritarianism and mass surveillance in the united states.

He has spent over a decade working with and learning from grassroots organizations and political parties across the world.

Jeff Ordower has three decades of organizing, in the labor and climate movements and has spent most of his time as a community organizer.

He got his start as a queer activist in college. He works with Karl at the Other Side Project taking on the corporations supporting authoritarianism and does trainings on non-cooperation and direct action.

One of his recent thrills was being part of the last days of the DWE electoral campaign in Berlin in 2021.

Carol Peterson is one of the founding members of the Movement Hub collective and co-director of das momentum/omni.

Active for 3 decades in movements in Australia and Germany, she loves international exchange on strategy and tactics
