Cult of Bob got a bit like that, as did Flying Spaghetti Monster.

I mean I watched the whole Anonymous/4Chan stuff that started being that turn into QAnon....people who years before attacked Scientology becoming that exact thing?

And freaking out at Roko's Basilisk which is definitely a cult mindset programming 'tool'.
