Various 10-point plans released by the Iranians are being put out various people but they all seem to differ.
This looks like the gist.
I can't see what the US gets out of this except Iran would have control over the Straight of Hormuz and the possibility to continue to enrich uranium.
What has it really all been about?

Desperation, ego, and the sort of blindly obedient loyalty to another country that was then expected but not received from others in turn.

One can only imagine a world where the purported 'art of the deal' bloke had had the spine of those others, had said 'no' to joining in a war as they did, and had decided to keep on going with the then existing deal negotiations, instead.

The internal U.S.A. political fallout from yesterday has been massive.
