That deadline, though very serious if acted upon, even so reminds me of an Oprah show segment I caught years ago. A guest was talking about impending disasters. Oprah then asked her audience a hypothetical question. What would they do if notified that in 3 months a giant meteor would hit the earth and kill all life.
One guest said he'd move in with his mother-in-law. It wouldn't make the remaining time any longer, but it would sure seem longer.
