FWIW, I've been scrubbing mine since they jumped the shark, leaving just the last 2 weeks worth.

Pretty much do it with all social media now, though I've not written a script to do it for the Fediverse yet (fortunately no need to do it here, as the setting is baked in - as all responsible social sites do.)
