Sorry to say, but to me the destructive and evil in us IS what humans ARE.
Empathy, caring, living within circles of nature, trying to save what keeps one alive ...instead of destroying whole ecosystems is what animals are and what is left of them in us.
(So "human" is actually a swear word to me.)
We not only "don't deserve cats or dogs". Since we left the way natives lived *with* nature we where on that wrong path. We are at the end of it.
A "Good" or bad one? We'll see.
