I do understand why people fail to understand the importance of masking. Last week, I visited my barber for the first time since November, since I won't go during surges. My barber worked 40 hours a week all winter in an environment I wouldn't visit for 30 minutes, and she didn't get sick that she knows of. It's hard for people to grasp risks that are invisible and seem remote (but accumulate over time.)

@augieray I always travel with a mask on airplanes. Even before I wipe down my seat area with an antibiotic.

My nephew, who recently flew across several provinces for a short visit picked up a bug. Normally, he just shakes it off in a couple of days. This time he had to get some antibiotics from his doctor.
