Healthcare is a basic right.
Not a privilege. Not a luxury. 💙

Today, on World Health Day, we're reminded that access to quality healthcare is essential for fairness and progress for individuals, communities, and societies worldwide.

We're committed to turning research into action through collaboration to protect health.

Let's build a healthier future together.

Importantly - BAN private healthcare, so that rich people also have an interest in maintaining an excellent public system!

Solving through banning? You'll be tagged as extremist!
That sounds great, but only with true democracy. Otherwise we'll face cominism as it was in USSR.

Yes, I know what you mean. I am not suggesting everything be nationalized, just certain key things where private ownership doesn't work in the interests of society. Goal with education and healthcare is to encourage a "we're all in this together" approach.

I nevertheless think this won't be enough today, as the sole indicator used to measure "good things" is GDP. Having private healthcare was not even considered in EU some decades ago, that shifted. We must tackle the *why* to make things deeply change.
