@alexadeswift LAPD has been like this for 160+ years.
Always attacking and killing people of color. I saw it all the time growing up.
This is why 1965,1992 and 2020 occurred.
And it'll inevitably happen again.
I fear you are correct. As a trans woman who us ex police I certainly wouldnt feel safe around them.
@alexadeswift I saw it as an infant in Boyle Heights and downtown LA. Police beating up people innocently waiting for buses and streetcars,simply because they were Black,Latino or Asian. That was in 1962. No child should ever have to see that. My PTSD likely started from witnessing this.
