Sandor Spruit 🇪🇺🇳🇱🇺🇦🇨🇦@bert_hubert @mieke I bought a couple of small batteries when Russia invaded, stuff meant for outdoor use on campings etc. But large enough to power LED lights, radios or charge a phone. I remember thinking, at the time, “I might be overreacting”. Now it feels like a perfectly sane thing to have done. Weird times.
Mieke Roth@sandorspruit @bert_hubert same here. I actually have about half a cubic meter of water as a backup, a solar-powered battery big enough to keep a refrigerator running for a day with energy over to power communication devices. And a solar-powered radio, just in case
