175 arrested for driving while intoxicated and 4,000 caught speeding over Easter weekend
More than 290 drivers were caught using mobile phones while driving, and more than 95 were found to not be wearing a seatbelt

As reported by Independent.ie

Is any of this a surprise? Not a bit. We can all see this stuff everyday. And once the Gardaí get off their arses and take a look, they see it too.

They are back on their arses as normal today

@ronanmcd I reported one to the Garda ombudsman on St Patrick’s day for telling me to get lost on the same day when I reported a McDonalds for operating with their emergency exit locked and blocked. He lied to me and from that moment he was done.
@humanhorseshoes Blocking the city to protest the Irish govt for cost rises after USA starts an unnecessary war? These farmers are losing sympathy instead of gaining it. They can get fucked.
@ronanmcd they are protesting in the wrong place at the wrong time against politicians who aren’t even in the Dáil and alienating the public
@humanhorseshoes Supermacs'll be jammed now in a minute.
@ronanmcd That is wonderfully snarky and on the money
