I hate their regime.

BTW have a close, brilliant friend who was a child Persian refugee post-Shah.
Pre-Revolution Persian culture was(is?) incredibly sophisticated, artistic & intellectual. Knowledge seen as sacred. Like my friend & her family.

I hear you. I was young but remember the Iran hostage crisis.
The way their regime treats women, 🏳️🌈, etc, is unconscionable. And having a family full of military veterans, I was really worried about what Iran would to our missing airmen had they found them first.
All of this is backwards and insane.
