Our representatives are too corrupt, weak, or just stupidly ineffective to stand up to him. If our elections this year don't swing this around, god help us all.

Why do so much american ignore the facts that there is no such thing as "proper election" in fascism?
@derZeitreiser @GossiTheDog It's the same reason you see other countries taken over by authoritarian regimes are unwilling or unable to make significant change. It's no different in the US and there's an equal number of supporters to the opposition either out of fear or agreement. Neighbors against neighbors. And the people who have the real power to remove him won't. So we rely on raising our voices for now until they try to take that away.
Even when the man is finally removed or exits the office. He is only a symptom of the problem. We still have a greater threat of the Nationalists embedded in our government that are eating away at our constitution, and that will not be going away any time soon.
