@anderspuck not sure why, but I can't seem to follow or comment through my own peertube instance so I'll comment here.

You make a comment that it is illegal to collect tolls for passage, but both the Suez Canal and Panama Canal do this. Also Oman on the other side for Strait has already told Iran that it is in agreement, and would charge a toll as well in line with what the Iranians charge.

Lastly, how about consider this to be reparations for an illegal, unprovoked attack by Israel /US
