Gli spari, la fuga delle persone, l’intervento degli agenti. Il ministero degli Interni turco, in una nota, diffuso gli ultimi aggiornamenti relativi all’attacco armato avvenuto questa mattina, martedì 7 aprile, vicino al Consolato israeliano nel quartiere di Beskitas, a Istanbul, nella parte europea della città. Le autorità hanno confermato che gli assalitori erano in tre ed avevano noleggiato una vettura nella città di Izmit.
Uno di loro “affiliato a un’organizzazione terroristica che strumentalizza la religione” è stato ucciso mentre gli altri due, due fratelli, sono stati feriti e arrestati. Uno di loro aveva precedenti per droga. Per quanto riguarda gli agenti della polizia antisommossa rimasti coinvolti nella sparatoria in due hanno riportato “lievi ferite, uno a una gamba e uno all’orecchio – ma non sono in pericolo di vita”

The Turkish Interior Ministry, in a statement, released the latest updates regarding the armed attack that occurred this morning, Tuesday, April 7th, near the Israeli Consulate in the Besiktas district of Istanbul, in the European part of the city. Authorities confirmed that the assailants were three in number and had hired a vehicle in the city of Izmit.
One of them, “affiliated with a terrorist organization that exploits religion,” was killed while the other two, two brothers, were injured and arrested. One of them had a prior drug offense. Regarding the riot police involved in the shooting, two sustained “minor injuries, one to the leg and one to the ear – but are not in life-threatening condition.”
