I've seen it from the train a gazillion times so I thought I should check it out. Meet "Stubbamöllan", an old #windmill in Häljarp south of #Landskrona. It's old - from 1784.
In 1784 Gustav III was king of Sweden (you can see him photobombing the last pic).

It's easy to forget that #history is actually an endless string of pearls, one day at a time, and history is closer than you think; I've met a man who met a man who really met Gustav III. My (adoptive) dad's dad was born around 1890 and, as a toddler, he met a very, very old man in the small hamlet of Tombo. This man's mother had visited Stockholm whith the, at the time, newborn 'old' man and the King himself had smiled at the young mother and her baby. Or at least that's the story.

So... everything is so close, and the veils are so thin you can see right through them if you just close your eyes.
