So over #Easter I was back into #family #sysadmin mode.

In my story board: updating a relatively new laptop to Win11*.

Result: It took four full days and from your favorite "try these 25 things to make your Win 11 upgrade unstuck" I had to resort to ALL of the steps:

* I worked fiercely to be allowed to install #Linux ofc, but there you go...

@ftranschel About the time Win 8 was a thing my wife's Win XP desktop needed replacing. I have her an option, either source and maintain your own WinPC or I'll provide and maintain a Linux machine. She chose Linux, grumbled for a year or so because OO Calc wasn't quite the same as Excel but now Excel isn't either so it's all fine.
