Humans are not evolved enough to have empathy with the hungry people on Earth. They have set a record in distancing themselves from the suffering of others, while feeding a Military Industrial Complex hoax, started during the Cold War, as the US cornered the USSR on the international chessboard, into going along with it. Why did the Russians never go to the Moon? Why did they grudgingly slap the Americans on the back, in Pravda, and say, "Da, Tovarisch! You win." Because nobody went to the Moon. America used that PR stunt to establish hegemony, which was ultimately the demise of the USSR.

I realized that I never thought about all the other moons in our solar system, it turns out that all of the large, round ones are tidally locked to their planets, so that just like our moon, they have "dark sides" that are never visible from the planet…
