What if the wings of an owl were her body, and her body were her wings? I've been fascinated with Athene (esp. A. cunicularia) and her gaze, but Bubo bubo (and quite similar species such as Bubo virginianus) makes me wonder which of the two has the most breathtaking, majestic gaze and pose. Her wings seems so wide compared to her body, it almost feels like she'd be capable of lifting an entire person from the ground should she be a bit bigger.
