@newstik I only know Windows, I did not test it on another platforms.
I've contacted their support in 2021 because I only saw those log files still written and didn't knew where they came from. There were four different support agents assigned to my ticket and none of them knew how to resolve the issue. I only found out later by myself that there were still drivers present after uninstalling and those drivers caused those log files.
@duxsco I'm sorry, I misunderstood your answer as "The problem was using Windows in the first place, don't use Windows, Windows bad". I don't like this kind of answer because it usually hides the real issue (NordVPN in this case).
I agree with you that NordVPN should not be used at all.
@alxhu yeah. I didn’t imply what to install after the removal of the old operating system. It depends on the needs. And, without knowing those, I don’t make statements in the direction of installing this or that operating system. I also don’t want to recommend reinstalling the old operating system.
I get that people have to use Windows for reasons. For me, a system with NordVPN is tainted. And, its continued use or having NordVPN remnants lie around is like taking a s**t without wiping afterwards. I could do this, but I wouldn’t feel well.
