One thing I hate about getting older is that I find it more and more difficult to find new music I like (I've mentioned this quite often here). But minutes ago, Youtube suggested me this Spanish singer called Rosalia who's apparently pretty big in Europe these days, and I haven't been so blown away by a song in many years:

Now, I want to hear more from her.

@David
I find new (to me) music that I like. But I no longer have the focus/patience/free time to nerd out and become obsessed with it any longer.

If I find something new and cool, I'll listen to the songs and - then do something else. I don't dig out the entire back catalog or look for tour dates or anything.

@jannem I didn't mean "new to me" but just new. I still discover a lot of great music from the past that I slept on for one reason or another. But recent music? It's very difficult these days.

Surprisingly to some (because I can't play music at all, nor it's a topic I often talk about) but music is a huge part of my life, always has (and I will dig out the entire back catalog of artists I find interesting).

@David
I include new-new in that. The new album from Southern All Stars is on heavy rotation at home right now, and it's pretty good.
@David good news from the future, it’s a possibility than your kids, once past a few phases may introduce you to good new music
@bourgui I hope they will. They're the ones who introduced me to Aina the End, the only JPop singer I actually like (but most of what they listen is crap, though, but I listened to a lot of crap when I was their age too... Although, I also listened to a lot of good music without being aware of: I recently listened to a lot of the songs I listened in the 80s, and some masterpieces were hidden in the middle of the crap, I couldn't make the difference then)
