While fishing far from the stocked trout areas, I came across a sucker run on the trout opening day 😊
Caught a few, something that’s typically quite difficult to do with flies except during the period of the sucker run 😉

I feel like they will eat just about anything during the sucker run 🤔
But they were pretty big, and I was excited 😊
